The house, originally a rustic structure with an adjoining barn and shop, was owned by my paternal grandparents, who in addition to running a small family farm supplied milk to the entire village. Over the years, the small dairy turned into a shop selling basic foodstuffs.
Very fond of family memories, I wanted to renovate the rustic buildings and breathe new life into the house by opening it up to guests, as it had also been a place for socialising in the past. Originally located in the middle of the fields, the house has over time become part of the city context, but you can still breathe the country atmosphere in it.
Located in Cornaredo, a town 5 km north-west of the city of Milan and very close to the Fiera Milano-Rho exhibition centre, Hayloft offers accommodation with free WiFi, an independent heating and cooling system and a free TV streaming service via Netflix.
